Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the lemon mobile application (“the App”) operated by Lemon App OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (“lemon”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The service

lemon is a digital food safety record-keeping tool that helps UK restaurants and food businesses manage HACCP compliance. The App allows you to:

• Record temperature checks for fridges, freezers, and hot-hold units.
• Log incoming deliveries with supplier details and condition checks.
• Complete food safety checklists.
• Export inspection-ready PDF reports.
• Collaborate with your team across one or more locations.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the App.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Subscription and pricing

• The App is offered at £19 per month per location after a 30-day free trial.
• Payment is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies.

5. Your data and responsibilities

• You retain ownership of all food safety records you create in the App.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
• lemon is a record-keeping tool, not a substitute for professional food safety advice or training.
• You are responsible for ensuring your food safety practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure.
• Share your account credentials with unauthorised parties.

7. Intellectual property

• The App, its design, code, and branding are the property of Lemon App OÜ.
• Your food safety data belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your content.
• You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Availability and support

• We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• Support is available via email at support@getlemon.app.

9. Limitation of liability

• The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• lemon is not liable for any food safety incidents, regulatory penalties, or business losses arising from use of the App.
• Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, we will retain your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, without prejudice to your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
