You can already install Lemon's app on your iPhone or iPad using TestFlight, which is Apple's own early access app. It is made by Apple, and lets you download apps that are in the process of being listed on the App Store.
Install TestFlight
Tap the button below on your iPhone. It opens the App Store on Apple's TestFlight page. Tap Get, then wait for it to download.
You do not need to open TestFlight yet. Just install it.

Once TestFlight is installed, tap the button below. It opens TestFlight and shows you the Lemon invitation.
Tap Accept, then tap Install. Lemon downloads onto your home screen like any other app.

Find the Lemon icon on your home screen and tap it. It is the real app, not a preview.
Sign in with the same email and password you use for your Lemon account. Your kitchen, your team and every record you have already logged are all there waiting.
Nothing is lost when we launch
When the App Store listing goes live, you do not have to redo any of this. Your account, your team, your fridges, your checklists and every record you have logged all live in your Lemon account, not on the phone.
You will get an email from us when the listing is live. From there you can install the App Store version, sign in with the same details, and carry on. Your history comes with you.
Common questions
Is this safe?
Yes. TestFlight is made by Apple and is the standard way apps get tested before release. Apple reviews every build that goes into it, the same way it reviews App Store apps.
Is it the finished app or a rough version?
It is the finished app. The only thing we are waiting on is the public listing.
Will my records disappear when the trial version expires?
No. TestFlight builds expire every 90 days, and we send a new one well before that, so the app just asks you to update. Your records are stored in your Lemon account and are never held only on the phone.
What about my team?
Send them this page. Each person installs TestFlight and joins the beta on their own phone, then signs in with the invite you sent them from Lemon.
I am on Android.
You do not need any of this. Lemon is already on Google Play, and it also runs in any browser at app.getlemon.app.
